Jodi Chapnik
Jodi Chapnik is a fine art photographer who is constantly watching, analyzing, and absorbing what is happening around her, using her surroundings to tell stories in art. To get inspired, she enjoys travelling and finding unique subjects and moments to photograph.
For more than 25 years, Jodi has been using her keen eye for detail to create awe-inspiring art. Her ever-evolving photography collection of landscapes, unique portraits and close-up object imagery invites people to explore the stories behind her work. Whether she is creating a scene with compelling props, photographing a single object, or using her impeccable timing to catch that fleeting moment, she thrives on sharing her observations and interpretations of the world around us.
In addition to creating fine art photography, Jodi loves to give back through philanthropy and education. She teaches photography workshops and is a volunteer, donor and committee member at MYTORONTO, and sits on the board at Ve’ahavta. Through her “Art that Gives” initiative and other fundraising efforts, she generously donates proceeds from sales of her work to charities that help people in need and endangered species in the wild.
Available in limited editions, Jodi’s photographs have been exhibited at various galleries and venues across Canada and her works are held in private and corporate collections in North America.
